Emerald Drop Pluot® is an early-season interspecific plum known for its striking appearance and excellent fresh-eating quality. The fruit is medium-sized with smooth, vibrant green skin that remains green even when fully ripe, sometimes developing a light yellow tint.  Fruit picked early is firm, yet juicy and sweet. Left to hang, fruit turns greenish-yellow with honey-like orange flesh.   The flesh is pale green to yellow, very juicy, and notably sweet, with a mild, refreshing flavor that is less tart than many other pluots. Emerald Drop ripens early in the season, making it a valuable variety for extending the harvest window. The tree is vigorous, productive, and well-suited for home orchards, producing attractive fruit that stands out for its unique color and clean, sweet taste.
